Optimalisasi Pengelolaan Retribusi Parkir Pada Pendapatan Asli Daerah Kota Jambi

Abstract

Parking levy is one of the regional revenues of Jambi City, where in its implementation problems were found related to the decline in the receipt of Parking Levy on the side of public roads in Jambi City. The purpose of this study is to find out the increase in Regional Original Revenue (PAD) of Jambi City Parking Levy in the office of the Transportation and Parking Management Office and the office of the Regional Finance and Asset Management Agency and Parking Attendants in Jambi City, the efforts made by the local government to optimize the receipt of parking levies. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the management of Parking Levy on the side of public roads in Jambi City has not run optimally, this is marked by the existence of parking officers who collect parking fees that are not in accordance with the tariff provisions contained in the regulations, then it is found that several parking officers do not use complete attributes when providing services to parking service users. The efforts that will be made by the Jambi City Transportation Office plan to optimize parking levies by using barcodes or QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard).
