Abstract

In today's digital era, technology and innovation play a pivotal role in driving educational transformation. The utilization of technology, such as educational apps, interactive games, and various digital devices, not only provides new ways of delivering materials, but also offers a more engaging and interactive learning experience. The use of digital media in early childhood learning is to utilize technology-based application devices such as computers, tablets, smartphones, and digital props (projectors) to support the learning process. to be more fun, interesting and not monotonous, and stimulate creativity, imagination and creative thinking in children. Forms of media used such as: Intractive educational applications (games to recognize numbers or letters), digital storybooks, digital props (smart boards or projectors), intractive audio to train listening, singing and storytelling. In the context of early childhood education, the use of digital media must be limited and in accordance with child development. This study aims to determine the extent to which digital media provides benefits, challenges, and impacts on child development, The method used is qualitative research to find out how digital media is used in learning activities in early childhood education, and analyze the positive and negative impacts of using digital media in early childhood learning, as well as identify the benefits of digital media in early childhood education.
